How does counselling work?
Professional counselling is a safe and confidential collaboration between qualified counsellors and clients to promote mental health and well-being, enhance self-understanding, and resolve concerns. Clients are active participants at every stage of the counselling process. (PACFA Scope of Practice for Registered Counsellors 2018, p.2)

Why seek professional counselling?
People seek counselling for a wide variety of reasons. We look forward to exploring your reasons for making your appointment with us and navigating your counselling journey together. Telehealth counselling appointments make it easier than ever to care for your mental health. Contact Hudson Counselling to find out more or go ahead and book an initial consultation.
What kind of results can I expect?
We are all unique human beings with our own history, perceptions, and expectations, so results vary widely. This means your counsellor can’t promise any particular outcome from the counselling process, but we can assure you we are committed to best practice as we work with you on resolving your concerns.

How can I get the most out of my Telehealth Counselling Sessions?
Therapy works best when you are an active participation in your sessions. Counselling is a collaborative exercise where we discuss issues in a safe, confidential space. We will discuss the challenges you are facing and identify proven strategies to cope. Practicing and reflecting on these strategies between sessions will help you get the best outcome.

Access Telehealth counselling when and where it suits you.
